History

Hello, I’d like to introduce you to Young Peoples learning Center. My husband, Dennis Griffith, and I, Janice, began the center in 1978. I am the Director and Dennis is the Business Manager as well as the Director of our summer Day Camp programs. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, a Colorado Teaching Certificate for Preschool and Kindergarten, and am certified to direct a day care and preschool center in Colorado. Prior to starting Young Peoples Learning Center, I was a Child Counselor for two years and taught in a Montessori program for one year. Dennis’ qualifications include a degree in Business Administration, several years experience as a business manager and thirty years in Boy Scouts
